We spent this past Saturday at the La Brea Tar Pits covering the 10th Annual Tarfest for sponsors Jakprints. The weather was scorching for the first part of the day but luckily some cloud cover came in and everybody was able to enjoy the day’s festivities which included some awesome live bands including Blondfire, The Makepeace Brothers, Steelwells, and So Many Wizards, live painting, hoola hooping, and a beer garden. Best thing about it was that it was free! We shot the event on the new Sony FS700 which we love! It did amazingly well in low light, has two XLR inputs and has a huge sensor that will soon be able to record 4k images once a firmware update is released. We are looking forward to shooting more content with this amazing camera.
